Alain Le Garsmeur

Alain Le Garsmeur is an acclaimed photographer who lives in Portaferry. He has worked for many international publications, including the Sunday Times and Observer magazines. In 1986 he was awarded a World Press Award for his photographs of China. He moved to Northern Ireland in 1990 and has published a number of photographic books, including Yeats: Images of Ireland and Joyce: Reflections of Ireland.

Ian Hill

Ian Hill is a former director of the Northern Ireland Tourist Board and is the author of, and contributor to, numerous travel books about the island of Ireland for publishers in Belfast, Donaghadee, Dublin, London, New York and Paris. He has worked as a presenter with RTÉ, UTV and the BBC, and contributes regularly to journals and broadsheets in Belfast, Dublin and London.
